About Our Club

Serving Pi Beta Phi women the Central Indiana area, our alumnae club has a rich heritage and history. There is some evidence in our history that founding meetings took place in 1904. Although records are not conclusive on the exact date or year the club was established, we have claimed 1906 as our founding year, and subsequently held our centennial celebration in 2006.

In the early years, there were around 100 Pi Phi alumnae in the Indianapolis area and the original membership consisted of about 30 women. Today our numbers boast more than 2500 Pi Phi alumnae living in Central Indiana and about 200 dues paying members of our club. Just as our founders envisioned, we continue providing sisterhood to our members through a variety of events and activities, including luncheons, evening socials, speakers, demonstrations, sports activities, cooking activities, and more.

Each year, we aim to build our programming with a variety of activities that may interest many of our alumnae and fit into the busy schedules of our lives. As a club, we seek to expand the offerings of sisterhood, personal and intellectual growth (as well as professional!), community outreach, and general support for each of our sisters locally. We welcome your ideas and interest in continuing to bolster our Indianapolis Alumnae Club a high functioning, top-rated organization for our sisters.

Join us at an event, or reach out to a club officer with your ideas - we can't wait to grow our sisterhood with your involvement!
